im gettin into the final stages of resto-rodding my 69 and ive been thinkin about wheels. has anyone fit 15x8 up front and 15x10 in the rear? what kinda modifications did you have to do?

I'm running 15x8 (stock offset) vette ralleys on front on a 265\50\15 BFGs and wheel vintiques 15x10 (6" offset) ralleys on 295\50\15 BFGs on the rear. I had to relocate the shocks inboard and fabricate brakes etc. CE makes a nice kit that bolts\welds in.
My 69 sits alittle higher than most - about 3" from the top of the tires to the lip on the front and rear sheetmetal.... can send you a pic or two if ya need....
