I did a search and I can't find anyone that's done this on their 1st gen Camaro. I'm curious if I can make this happen. Am I crazy for wanting to go this big? Should I change it up to 17's front/18's rear instead?
Thanks,
Todd

Go to http://www.gforcedesignconcepts.com/gallery/
There is 2 '69s there with 18s and 20s. The blue car has 18x8s with 235/40-18s with 4.75" backspace in the front. The rears are 20x8.5s with 255/35-20s with 5.25" backspace. The orange car is 18x7s with 225/40-18s with 4.75" backspace in the front. The rears are 20x8s with 255/35-20s and 5" backspace. You can't deny they are both lookers. Most of the hard core pro-touring guys say that's not enough sidewall for good handling. That's something you have to decide for yourself. Good Luck - Jack

Thanks for the help. I guess I'm not too worried about handling as it will be mostly a show cruiser, but I will drive it. Maybe 17's front/18's rear would be a better option.
Also thanks for the search help. I don't know why I couldn't find that post. graemlins/clonk.gif

just my opinion but the few 1st gens I have seen with 20s don't look good to me. There is one in the last issue of Camaro Performers and I don't like the look of it.
