I have heard that cams with more than stock cam lift would need long slot rockers

would a .454/.454 268CC hi energy cam need long slots on 882 heads??

a quick reply is needed!!

About .490 is the max lift with the stock rockers. Screw in studs are also needed over .490 lift. Your fine with .450!

I agree with loneagle. A friend of mine ran them with a cam that was just over .500 lift and when we took it apart you could see where the end of the rocker slot hit the rocker stud on a few cylinders.
