i know this isnt a camaro problem but i thought that someone could help me. my girlfriend has a 97 gmc van with a 6 cyl. it cranks over fine but will not fire untill i jump it with another battery. it runs great after i get it started. i took the battery out and had it loadtested and its ok. any thoughts?

Nothing specific, but it sounds like one of those "module" type problems. Maybe the extra voltage when you jump it is enough to make the offending black box do its thing.

Sorry I don't have anything better for you, ask me about a carburator some time . . .

thanks for the input, started right up after i cleaned the ground at the body. new stuff is hard for me to trouble shoot.
