Does anyone know were I can purchase some mono leaf springs for my 68 Camaro??....I would also like to know if they make any Mono leaf springs with more than 125lb spring weight....I don't want to go through the bother of converting to multi springs.. Also how tough is it to change the leaf springs(How long, special tools required and difficult rating on jack stands)..Thanks in advance

Try Global West. They have several options including a Hi-perf stiffer multileaf that eliminates the for traction bars in high HP applications.

I bought mine for my 69 through Davenport Spring in Davenport, Iowa. I got a heck of a deal on them. I think I bought them for about 60 bucks a piece, about 4 years ago. I also worked at a Chevrolet dealership at the time, so I got some what of a discount. These were multi leafs. Sorry, I don't have the phone# for them, but if you want, email me and I'll dig for the receipt.

Don't fight want GM did with changing the mono to multi. They spend thousands to solve their wheel hop problem and succeeded with the multi. D&R has them cheapest, but i would reccommened sticking with the multi.

Just call your local spring shop. There should be one in your area somewhere. They can probably get you what you want and give you a quote for putting them on. I called one near me and they had several springs for me to choose from and the labor rate seemed resonanble.
