I'm getting ready to installe my windsheild on my 69 conv. whats better the old style caulking or new style urathane. Thanks for coments.

I always use 3M Window weld. Works great and its easy to use. Hope this helps.

Burney,I used butyl type sealant on my 68 rag it is more flexible and I believe thats what was used back then. Comes in a roll check with your local auto glass shop,hope this helps. Garry

...but if you want to replace what was used back then with the closest thing that you can get today, then use urethane. If you can, stay away from the 3M stuff, to many air pockets, Essex makes the best and is OEM approved.
