I found a 68 Camaro rear end housing for sale..cheap. How do I know if the perches are for single leaf springs or multi leafs?

Thanks

if i'm not mistaken either the hole for the center bolt is deeper or the u-bolts are further apart on multileaf. try checking with southside machine co. which makes traction bars for both spring setups.

The multi-leaf spring perches are much deeper than the mono-leaf. I just had multi-leaf pads put on a 12-bolt I'm putting in a 67 Coupe. Rick's First Generation has them.

Yes, the perches are nearly an inch deeper (there was a recent post regarding this). And the multi leaf perches are just a tad bit wider.
