Ok guys my clutch isn't disengaging all the way. it is not the slave or master cylinder (i don't think)well i was thinking the throw out bearing might be bad some how, even though i think they usually squeal when bad. but say it went bad, would i have to replace my clutch even though it is slipping. i hope you guys understand what i am talking about thanks

You sure you have enough fluid in the system?
If you plan on pulling the tranny, you might as well replace the clutch. I always believed in replacing everything as a set. Throwout bearing, clutch disc, pressure plate, pilot bushing. Mixing and matching new parts with old ones just doesn't make sense. Unless you're selling the car to your brother-in-law... http://www.camaros.net/forum/wink.gif

the reason that i asked this question is i am still trying to figure out why my cluth is not disengaging all the way. The master is full of fluid and i can't find any leaks. the slave isn't leaking (so i think it is ok)i am thinking that i need to replace my clutch even though it isn't slipping. but i was just wondering if the throw out bearing going bad would burn up the clutch.
Well i hope putting in a new pressure plate, clutch disk, throw out bearing and pilot bearing will solve my problem. if it doesn't i am out of money and ideas.
thanks
Tom
ps how much does a pilot bearing cost?
