To convert from Liters to Cubic Inches multiply by 61(CID/Liter). Your motor is about 207 cubic inches.
SFI is Sequential Fuel Injection. Basically that means there is a fuel injector located in each intake port just above the intake valve. The sequential part is that each injector fires just prior to and during the time the intake valve opens. So one injector fires at a time only when fuel is needed.
Other configurations are batch fire which fire in groups. Tuned Port Injection motors on 3rd / 4th gen camaros fired all eight injectors 4 times per revolution. Others fire left bank, then right. I'm not sure if the performance benefits of SFI will be noticed that much over the other modes, but it sure seems like the only reasonable way to inject fuel to me.
Congrats...don't drink and drive! graemlins/waving.gif

Sure, no problem.
3.4 liters means your engine is about 3.4 liters x 61 cubic inches/liter = 207.4 cubic inches in piston displacement. That's very close to the cubic inch size of your motor.
SFI means, (I think), Sequential Fuel Injection which I think means the injectors that feed the motor gas fire in a pattern versus four per cylinder bank firing and then the other four firing, but I may be wrong here because I am not all that much up on E.F.I., (electronic fuel injection).
Oh, and welcome to the best First Generation Camaro site ever.
And the only stupid or dumb question asked is the one that ISN'T asked so please feel free to ask away if you would like to learn things about your car..
We are sure there will be somebody that can help you...
