I've got a 68 Camaro w/327 and I'm trying to remove the exhaust manifold. I'm having a problem a bolt that's on the driver's side of the engine, the second one from the rear. I can't get it out, I've tried to spray everything down with WD40 and wait for awhile, I've tried for quite awhile to get it off with my sockets, and a 3/8" impact and it won't budge. What should I do?

Heat...Heat...Heat... I have had the best luck with stubborn bolts by heating the bolt head with a small propane or MAPP gas torch. (An oxy-acetyline torch works good too.) The heat will transfer down into the threads. A similar method using candle wax also works. (So I've heard) Do a search in the Engine section and find other posts on this topic.
