Hi,I bought a 67 Camaro project with a 454 cid in it with a 400 trans.I am restoring it to keep for myself. Here's the question,"can I simply replace the frame mounts and put in a 327 cid from a 68 Camaro ? Thanks for the replies.

Should go in without a hitch. just get the appropriate sb frame mounts and correct engine mounts from your restoration center of choice.

You can drop the SB right in, but it will set slightly higher on the drivers side and be slightly over towards the pass. side if this doesn't bother you??

That's the difference in location between a SB and a BB b/c of steering gearbox clearance issues..

Get the correct frame and engine mounts. The trans crossmember may be different too.
