Hello I have a camaro 68 convertible.
It originally had a & cyl engine
but now it has a 350 with a th700.

The radiator that's installed is too big and ugly its defenetly not for a camaro.
What are the difference between a 21" and a 23" radiator that come from factory ?
I know the 23" was for cars with AC but I cant see any reason why it wont fit in all
camaro's. I suppose the bigger 23" radiator was just to compensate for less airflow due to the "ac radiator" (dont remember the correct term) in front of the real radiator or is there something that I dont know about ?
Would a radiator from any other Chevy be a bolt in ?

The radiator support on my 69 has two sets of radiator mounting holes on the driver's side. One set is for the 21" radiator and the other is for the 23" radiator. I would think that your 68 would be the same. I was under the impression that the longer radiator was for big block cars, but I could be wrong. With the 350, unless it is really built, you should be able to get away with a 21" radiator. You can get a 21" three row radiator for around 180-190$ from Radiators.com (use the link on the Team Camaro main page) or you can get a 21" four row radiator from Rick's First Generation Camaro for $220-230 plus shipping.

i just replaced my 68 radiator last night with the bigger one. you have holes for it like the last post mentioned however your shroud from the smaller raditor wont fit anymore. national parts depot has the small ones for 150 and the big ones for 175. if you go with the bigger one and want a new shroud, its gonna set you back another $50.
