Look on the little pad on the deck just above the pass. side water pump top bolt or right in the middle of the "V" b/c there should be a code listing both letters and numbers.. The letters at the end of the number string should decode what year and what car the motor came out of plus whether it is actually a stick or an automatic tranny motor.

This should really go over in the Tag Team place b/c the guy's are really good at deciphering this sorta stuff!!
