So do you think that end-play was the problem?

Had to have been the end play, thats the only thing that was overlooked last time, and the time before.

It really sounds healthy, Im happy with those cheap raptor mufflers. We are having a little carb problem now but no big deal, it sat for quite a while and got turned upside down.

I just wanted to give you guys a little update, everythings going great. The engine is running excellent, we got another carb for it. My dads friend gave us a holley for free, yes FREE. Its a 3310-2, it has #72 jets and a purple secondary spring, plus someone put a 50cc accelerator pump on it. It works awesome, and now I have two holleys. Ive driven it about 10 miles so far, set off two car alarms, and ran out of gas in the mall parking lot LOL. All the time and money has paid off, but I also have thank god for this car. Thanks for all the help fellas, this has been crazy, now if I can just get it too have traction...

Oh well!!! No takers! http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif

The best thing is that You just didnt give up! You need to pat yourself on the shoulder, and your helpers a high five! I guess you can give future engine builders a GOOD piece of advice!!!

Post your setup again, and good luck with the tuning!

Very cool. Now when you are hangin' at the lot you can tell the "crate motor guy" that you blow away that you built it yourself.
