I've seen a couple before. I am going to install one in my SS convert. The folddown rear seat is the same size as the convert seat, so it is a natural fit graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Plus it is a good place for the high heels to rest from the beauty pagent entries you are driving in the parades graemlins/hurray.gif

Kind of looks like mine. People like to see the fold down seat and the 8 track player.

What upgrades do you have to make to convert existing 'vert rear seat to fold down? Any kits out there?

The way I understand it is the convertible rear arm rests are the same and all it really need is the folding rear section and lock. Would be interesting to find out

I would guess the lower rear seat is the same as the convert. The frames look about the same.

Then you would need:

Upper seat (much different frame then converts)
lock mech
bumpers
fiberboard partition
weld on metal partition gutter
weld on hinge plates
