ok, let me get some opinions on this one. im thinkin about buildin a 383 stroker for my camaro. its gonna be almost a daily driver and will be used for some stop light to stop light races. id like to use edelbrocks performer heads, cam, and pro-flo electronic fuel injection. this package is supposed to make power form idle to 5500 rpm. what do you guys think?

The performer stuff is surely ok,BUT your cam lobe might hit your rod because of the lobe seperation of cam (edelbrock is 112)it gets real tight in those strokers, you should run a small base circle cam, WHICH in turn might not work well with your fuel injection because they like more more overlap? have any of you guys got more info on this,? its fairly interesting to me

Sounds good, but I wouldn't use the Edelbrock cam. My Comp XE cam is fine as long as the rods are ground for clearance, and you install it "straight up" not advanced. And the FI would be nice, but IMHO would be a pain to setup.
