withnail Jul 17th, 02, 02:34 PM http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif
I'll make sure to call by and introduce myself. Do you have any idea how many cars are likely to be there?
-Andy
Z28 Mark @home Jul 17th, 02, 03:17 PM Last year there was 26 Camaros (I won a bet with John M. from the Club) and about a total of 65 to 70 cars and trucks. It’s a good show. I also plan on going, even with my black fenders… I always win something in the raffle.

Z28 Mark @home Jul 17th, 02, 06:37 PM Say Andy… You better change your member profile to reflect your resent move to the South Side….. See you Saturday.
P.S. We (the club) plan on meeting at “City Dinner” for breakfast @ 6:45AM, then out to the show.
Mark (A.K.A. Z28 Mark)
withnail Jul 18th, 02, 08:09 AM I'd never thought of changing my profile, I forgot all about it. Technically its still correct as I work in Sunnyvale and only access the site from here. http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif
Thanks for the heads-up on breakfast BTW but I never realised there were TWO 6.45's on a Saturday.....

DjD Jul 20th, 02, 03:07 PM All and all a good show, Andy it was good to meet you and the Mrs. Get busy and locate that quarter panel so you can get your car back on the road! Scott (newport30) it's always good hang out with you too. Mark I got the official count for you, this year was 98 and they said last year was about 116 total. Mike (oger) if you were there I missed you, when are our paths going to cross!! Our local club represented well and took 2 of the top 25 awards! I'll get pic's posted but have to rebuild the Fototime account and the data base on my PC crashed so it'll be a day or two. Did I miss anyone?

Z28 Mark @home Jul 20th, 02, 03:53 PM Dennis- I know you took home an award, but who was the other one? And good to meet up with you Andy and your wife- Keep plugging away at you ride… As I said, it takes time to find the correct parts, but use the resources that you have to help you (and the ones that both Dennis and I mentioned). I took a lot of pic’s of a lot of SWEET rides…..
Mark (A.K.A. Z28 Mark)
oger Jul 20th, 02, 06:27 PM Dennis I didn't make it. It usually is a nice local show.
DjD Jul 20th, 02, 07:09 PM Mark, Steve K (Red '69 Z) also took home a top 25 award. Mike it was small but the caliber of cars was high. I like the voting the way it's setup. Each entry gets to pick their 10 fav plus bad to the bone, best work in progress and best of show. I really like to go for the social aspect, (actually met 2 neighbors for the first time that had cars there) the awards are just gravy on the potatos.

newport30 Jul 22nd, 02, 06:50 AM The Bash is always a lot of fun and has a very high caliber of cars. Congrats to Dennis and Steve for bringing in the gold. I also just go to this show to hang out with my fellow Camaro nuts. It was a plus to get to meet Brian from WCA who showed me some things about my car that I didn't even know. Oh, and I won a cool hat in the raffle.
Scott.
withnail Jul 22nd, 02, 07:45 AM Hello everybody, it was great to finally meet up with you -Dennis, Mark and Scott - on saturday. It was good to put names to faces after all this time. We would have liked to stay longer but had to dash. We caught up with Mark again before we left but weren't able to find Scott or Dennis again so please don't think us rude for leaving without saying goodbye.
It was a fun little show, there were some really nice cars there IMHO.
-Andy
