Hey, i think i have a '68 327 in my 1967 camaro, but i dont know what size journal i have. I have most of my engine #'s HERE (http://www.camaros.net/forum/ultimatebb.php/topic/9/13076.html) Any advice would be a big help.


Also, my heads cast #'s are 3947041 and i believe they are the rare 041. Would it be worth it to get them ported??? If so, how much would an operation like that cost???

If its the origional motor, then it maybe a small journal, but after reading your other post. I'll lean toward the medium journal as the cast date is so late.

Pull the bottom end apart and have the crank checked. 100% diffinitive answer that way.
