I need to find a set of replacement stock GM pistons for a 350HP 396. Should be a 17CC dome cast aluminum. Also wondering if someone sells them in a 22CC dome. I know speed pro sells forged ones but I think forged is overkill for a pure street almost dialy driver car. Does anyone know where you can find/buy these old cast pistons? I have tried GM, and most of the dirt track sites around. Cant find anything on search either. Thanks

Try Keith Black, (K/B), and please consider their hypereutectic pistons. I don't know if you will find what you want, but should at least be worth a try... pdq67

Thanks, I have thought about K/B but its only another 10 bucks to get speed pro forged so If i cant find the cast replacements all go get the forged ones.

According to Speed Pro's catalogue you need a set of L2240NF pistons for your 1965-69 396-325/350HP; closed chamber iron heads. These will give you:
9,48:1CR w/100.9cc
8.98:1CR w/106.9cc
8.78:1CR w/109.4cc
8.26:1CR w/116.9cc
8.13:1CR w/119.0cc
7.83:1CR w/124.0cc

Thanks again guys, I really want the real thing because those speed pro replacements are quite a bit low on compression. Im looking for around 9.8-10.1. Ive thought long about the K/B's but I will pay the extra 10 bucks to get the forged pistons. I was hoping the cast replacements may only be 15-20 bucks a pop and it could save me some serious cash. Ill have to go check with my machinist, he had some pistons that no one else had in my other builds. I think badger or someone makes them.... Thats the opinion I got from the local parts store, they couldnt get them.....
