I put a superior shift kit in my transmission when I was rebuilding it. When I first adjusted the t.v. cable and drove it the thing shifted fine, now it won't upshift right except under heavy throttle. It will upshift from 1st to second o.k., but not 2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 4th. I am pretty sure the 3rd to 4th problem is lack of a computer and will fix it before I start driving much. Any help or ideas are appreciated.

The throttle valve was stuck in the valve body, funny thing because the shift kit added a spring to repair this. Well, I'll fix it tommorrow, just wanted to post the solution for anyone with similar problems. Thanks!!

Common problem... I think it's a trans-go (don't remember for sure) that makes a blue printed throttle valve assembly to replace the GM one.. Contact Steve at www.700r4.com (http://www.700r4.com) he'll recomend the correct one...
