Hey did a Holley 3310-1 come on a car or was it after market? I found one yesterday & it had a front & rear metering block on it & a power valve in both ends with 70 jets in front & 80's in the rear. Did they come from Holley with a power valve in both ends?It has a electric choke on it.

The Holley 3310 was used on the Z28 in late 67 early 68 on only some of the cars. Holley had a backlog problem with the carb. number they were producing for Chevy. Since they were close in specs anyway, they sent Chevy these untill they caught up with production. Also, there is a metering block conversion for the 3310's but they did not have a power valve hole machined into it. I have seen where metering blocks off of double pumpers were used, but I am not sure how that would work as far as acurate metering. Anyway, thought I would add what I know Galen

The Z/28 came jetted 68pri and 76 sec.
The aftermarket carbs were 72 and 76
It sounds like the carb you have had it's jets changed.

I've run a 3310 and 4780 (800cfm) with the 68 and 76 jettng, and they ran great.

3310 was never used on Z28, not single carb, not duals. 4553, 4554, 4555 were Z28 carbs.

3310-AAS (first of the series) was original Z16 '65 396/375 Chevelle carb, any suffix 3310 (-1, -2, -3, etc) is aftermarket carb, not used as stock factory carb.
