Hey fellas. I just started talking here, been reading for a while though and you all seem wicked smart. So I have a question - I have an 87 Camaro with a 305, stock Q-Jet and most other things stock, except for headers and air assembly. Today I started her up and she was idling at about 2500-3000 RPMs, way up from the normal 1000 or so. Then when I go to shut her off, it's like it doesn't want to shut off all the way, it will turn over a couple more times, and then eventually kill, sometimes after 2-3 seconds, sometimes as long as 10-15 seconds. I haven't done anything to the engine in a while, and she's been running fine. The only thing that I've done was put a couple new subs in, but that was a couple weeks ago, and it didn't affect anything. Anybody have any thoughts on what's causing this? Thanks a million
