I have a '95 Camaro 3.4 eng 52000 miles. After driving for a while it will lose power and go from 60 mph to 5 mph. I keep pumping gas or holding down and power finally kicks back in. Noticed last time that when I took foot off accelerator the power would come back on and when accelerator pushed down again would lose power. I have had into several garages they can't find problem. Have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump and sock. Help?????

Does the "Check Engine" light come on during any of these episodes - and have they pulled codes to see if there is any memory of problem.

Could be so many things - but, start looking for loose wire connections and sensor connections to see if you can isolate the cause.
Double - No, Triple check the TPS for function and connection problems. Since you can 'correct' the problem sometimes by dancing on the accelerator this maybe part of the problem? Just a quess at this point.

There are no lights or indications that show up on the dash.

When you start the car, does the check engine light come on for a few seconds then go out? It should. If not the bulb is burned out.

I second the electrical connection suggestion. Gremlin problems that come and go like that are almost always bad connections. I also would start with the TPS circuit.

Does it back fire or just run like a dog when it acts up?

It does not backfire but sometimes it kind of chokes or coughs for gas.

something else you may want to check besides the TPS is that you are getting plenty of voltage to the spark plugs, you may have a coil going bad. i am just correcting this on one of my truck

That would be a coil pack. Check Engine light should come on when turn the key to IGN, then go out, as in doing a "bulb check."
