1994 Camaro 3.4L

Problem:

With heavier acceleration there seams to be a miss, I had a new CAT installed as it was believed that the old one was plugged and this could have been the cause of the problem. The engine is now running better however there is still a miss when trying to accelerate faster then usual. The engine seams to running normal other than that.

Recent work:
New CAT
New Plugs
New Air Filter
New Fuel Filter
ACCEL Wires - Last year

Were the plug wires direct fit or did you have to make them?I have seen the ones you put together yourself corode and break down under a load.

The plugs were pre-fabs, I actually replaced them with regular GM wire recently and I'm still noticing a hesitation every once and a while. I also replaced the gas cap with a vented one to increase air into the gas tank, next I think I'm going to replace the coils and PCV valve.. Any other suggestions? Thanks

you may have a partially clogged or bad injector ... Try one of the name brand cleaner additives ... People have varying opinions about how good they are ... maybe give Gunk a try ... couldn't hurt ...
