I'm abit confused on the Cat-back exhuast system and how it compares to a Dual system. I've just bought a pair of Edelbrock TES headers along w/ a dynomax super flow catalytic converter and I don't wanna go into the cat-back just to find out i would get better performance from a dual exhaust set-up. I've got an 87 z-28 TPI w/ a 93 350 caprice engine (LO5)

a cat back system can be either a single or dual outlet system depending on what you're getting... the term "cat-back" simply means that it includes all of the pipes rearward of the cat/cats.
