I just swapped my 3spd for a t-10 4spd, my question is what u-joint to use. The driveshaft is an early style w/ outside c-clips and the trans yoke is a late model w/ inside c-clips. Does any have a part number I could use, The part stores around here are not much help. The car and the 3spd transmission are 1972 camaro and the 4sp trans is a 1979 bw super t-10. Thanks for any help.

I don't have part numbers but the NAPA down the street from me has a conversion U-joint right in their book. It should be pretty easy for even the laziest counter guy to find.

I just had the same peoblem, if this sounds right give it a try, if one side has a large cap approx. 1 1/8" diameter and is wider (inside clip)and the other side cap is approx. 1" diameter and shorter (outside clip) try the Auto Zone part number 3-3130 for greasable or 3-3130BF for performance non-greasable. GOOD LUCK
