i was wondering what you guys thought of this combo, and what kind of power you thought it would make. a 454 HO with 049 heads and .030 over, comp magnum 280hr, with .566 single grind, 224 @.050 and a rpm intake. 10.2:1 compression, topped with a 850 demon. 110 lsa. motor will never see above 6k and is in a street car with a 2500 stall th400 and 3.50 gears. 2in primaries and 2.5 in exhaust. do you think this will run well? this will be a 95% street driven car, and i am assembling the motor tomorrow morning and want to know what you guys think.

as always all replies are welcome and appreciated. thanks for your input.

I think it will be a pretty good combo that will give you between 450 and 500 hp. I would consider going with a 112 lsa cam since you aren't going to rev it to high. I used one and it's great for a very flat torque curve 3000-6000 rpm.You want to watch your static/dynamic compression with that 224 duration.
