I can only speak for my neighborhood but all the stations that have been $2.17 - $2.19 for 87 have all dropped to $2.13 or less over the last day or two... The "Sorta" in the title though is all the credit card stations that were $2.27 have only dropped to $2.25 for 87. We've all but quit using our cards during this time of high prices and when I drive by these stations they never have anyone at the pumps. The lower price cash stations always have a few minute wait, you would think the higher priced stations would notice the volume difference in sales! Maybe they do and figure folks are not driving as much and figure all gas stations are not selling as much... graemlins/clonk.gif

Anyone else see the drop too?

The local stations are still at $2.24 for 87. No change for a long time. Surprises me that your gas is cheaper down there.

Just filled up the Expedition today for 1.66 Gal for 87. Loading up the family and going to the lake to spend the day on the party bardge.

These high gas prices suck and I was lucky to find gas cheap. I was about 30 mils away from home when I saw this price. Around my house in town it's 1.83 gal for 87.

hmm... gas suddenly got cheaper here last weekend. here, it's $1.73 for 87 octane, but 5 miles south of here it's $1.67ish- and 10 miles north (along I94 where it's always a good nickel more per gallon) it's right around $1.80.
you know, i'm starting to think that maybe the oil companies were testing the waters by raising gas prices so high- you know, to kind of find out how the population would respond to the higher prices and prepare us for the inevitable surge in oil prices that will happen the next time something "big" happens that makes them "have" to raise prices- like July 4th weekend unexpectedly sneaking up on everybody out of nowhere.. altho, they did lower the prices around here for memorial day weekend...

$1.70 a gallon here in southwestern Ohio right now. It had dropped to $1.61 last week and then inched back up to the present price.

I'll trade you your "high prices"! I know it's all relative, but you're 60 cents a gallon cheaper than us! I would love to be paying that much. I'd save about $800. per month on my gas bill!

$1.67 on the border of WV/KY. 1 mile away from that it's $1.84, and in my town (5 miles from that) its $1.93.

Last week regular was $1.66 at Speedway. It took a couple weeks to get down there. Now, overnight, it jumped back to $1.99. I guess we should feel lucky (@#$%) cause it was up to $2.16 a little while ago. Gota wonder what's going on when it is so predictable. Kevin
