What I need to know is how to tell the difference visualy between the 1.76 ratio and the 1.82 ratio. Is the 1.76 ratio the one that is physically bigger and heavier? I am rebuilding the trans in my 67 convertible and I am trying to decide which one to put behind a 383. Crosley Jan 1st, 03, 03:06 PM The 1.76 carrier is a forged steel looking piece.
