The thing is you just don't know the circumstances behind the owners decisions. He could be fed up and bailing or he could have lost his job, house and wife...

I don't know the situation with that guy but I'm selling my camaro and I have less than 100 miles on it. I'm definetly not doing this to make money. I've owned this car since I was 18 (17yrs). Drove it as my only car for the first few years. Now married with four kids, your life changes. Why would I put so much work into a car and then sell it? For me I just couldn't bring myself to sell it without it being drivable. Restoring it to be "drivable" started to get out-of-hand so I had to stop somewhere. I also have the chevelle and don't have the garage space.

SO what do you think that this car is worth?? It seems like a nice car with a decient 400. With out lookint at it I would say that it is a solid 12-13k car in a realistic market. I email the guy and of course he wants a ton. He said that it could be had for 16800 cash which he stated is way below his reserve price. I would imagine his reserve price to be somewhere around 20k.

That picture of the trunk mat leads me to believe that when that spatter paint peels up (which it inevitably will) you will find the surface that matches the imprint on the mat..
You would think they would have been smart enough to not photograph that part of the mat, or even better to remove the mat, clean it and then re-install it..
