I have a 327 motor with 462 heads on it.
But one head has a crack and I found someone selling a 492 head
I know they are both 64cc but are the other things: intake port ... the same?
Can I put one 462 and one 492 on my motor?

Should be fine, only real difference is that the 0492 will have accessory holes in it. I'd pull both heads at the same time and get em both reworked together though. That way you can be sure that both are in good condition.

CC the chambers on both of them b/c the old double hump heads can vary quite a bit depending...

My heads have been resurfaced , the valves have been changed 2500 km ago.
the new head has just been ported and the seats have been redone.
So I will have myhead also ported and i will use the valves that were one the broken one to put on the new.

AND I have GOOD single -462 if you want it but I don't know what the freight would come to??

The 492 Head is in Germany :), I don't know if you're still interrested, I can give you the adress if you want, but I still don't know if i have to buy it or not.
