I currently own an 86 Z-28 IROC w/ a 305 TPI.
I want to put a 4-bolt main 350 in it's place but i'm not sure how to do this. I need to know what modifications I'm going to need to make, for instance; Fuel injectors, intake(runners and body), Computer, and other mods. Let me know what I can do to make this work with little mods and expense

Do you have emmisions testing where you live?

yes and no. I live in Ohio right now ao we don't have one here. I'll be moving back to Mass in two years after college. In mass you can change the engine and still pass your emissions as long as it's an engine that was optional for that vehicle. Plus I have a guy that will fudge a sticker for me!

I'm pretty sure that GM sells a conversion kit for third gen Camaros to put in a 350. It comes with all the parts and such and is supposedly emmissions legal. I think they sell it at www.paceparts.com (http://www.paceparts.com)

Good luck.

I looked at that conversion kit but it costs $4500.00 i'm not ready to pay that much for a stock 350 2-bolt main. I can get a 4-bolt main for 400,brand new, never been run. Id rather put 4500 into my new engine and get more horses out of it. Any other tips for me guys?
