My buddy that is one of the people in the I/M section of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources Air Pollution Control Program where I work just received a copy of "Motor Emission Control Systems Application Manual." 2004 Edition. (ISBN 1-58251-162-4).

It's put out by the printers of the great Motor Manuals.

This great big 3" thick, phone book sized manual lists all the state's inspection list's of points tested for, the spec's that you have to pass by vehicle, year and state, etc., the vehicles how to reset the buttons stuff info. All years as to what is required by cars trucks, etc AND much, much more!! It even lists if there are technical service bulletins that are applicable for specific year vehicles, etc...

I didn't even know the big sucker existed.. It is a wealth of I/M info. if anybody so desires to know everything there is to know about the stuff, imho...
