I am trying to determine the Identity of my 69 Camaro's engine. There appears not to be a pad on the passenger side head. My Vin Plate is as follows

I know that early in 69, the Norwood tags did not contain any x-codes. The car has optional trim, such as black sill, simulated louvers on rear quarters, black stripes etc. Can someone tell me what exactly came with the X11 Option. And back to the engine, I know they came out in Mid-Year with the L65 350. Since this car was built early on (October 68), Is it likely that it is an LM1 350/255 HP?

The X-11 option (includes SS350 with style trim). From what you are describing that sounds like it could have been a X-22 which was a style trim group with SS396 (Black rear panel). Or perhaps it could be a X-66 which was also a SS396 with rear fender louvers, black rear panel and the black body sills except colors 51-Dusk Blue, 57-Fathom green, 61-Burnished brown,and 67-Burgandy Hope this helps!
