I have a 91 camaro RS, and got a 400 small block bored .40 over and I was wanting to get some help on what type of cam to get that will produce nice horsepower. also since i'm rebuilding the whole motor what type of internal parts should I get (crank, pistons, etc.) any input would be greatly apperciated(sp)
my goal is to make as quick as time in the quarter as possible.
Thanks,

Do you care if you can drive it to and from the track? What kind of transmission, and whats your rear axle ratio? Is the rear axle original, because if it is it won't survive very long once you get above 300 HP or so.

I want it to be a daily driver. right now I have the Stock T5 5speed tranny so I would probably have to put heavier clutch package in it. I'm not sure on what rear end I want to put in, what would be the best? I'm going to replace it no matter what, I want to be able to go forward when I put on the gas not stay in one spot the whole time. any information and or combonations that anyone has I'm up for it. I'm new to putting together the whole package, so what ever works I will probably go for it.
Thanks,
Adam
