Is there any replacement carb for the 4bbl q-jet that will fit right on my camaro 68 with a 327cid?

So i dont have to relocate the throttle linkage and kickdown wire?

Im just rebuilding my q-jet, and i noticed that there is some things thats not working propely, like the secondary airbaffle get stuck and so on.

And there is so many rods to bend on it, and i dont have time to struggle with it. smile.gif

If you don't want to rebuild, you can take one of two avenues:

1)Edelbrock sells new and remanufactured quadrajets, that will hook-up to your existing hardware without any problems. But make sure you get the right one. The only draw-back is that they are all 750 cfm and up, which may cause an off-idle bog. Look on their website.

2) Holley makes a great quadrajet replacement carb. I beleive it's the "6210" series units. Again, they have different varieties, so make sure to specify what exactly you need. Look on Holley's website.

Good Luck......

You could also send your carb to one of the aftermarket tuners for a rebuild. JET Performance does Q-jets.

Thanks

I think i'll go with a 600cfm holley 4160. It should hook up the th350 kickdown with no problems, atleast what they say. =)

And the throttle linkage is more simple to adjust.

Now im gong to look for a new intake aswell. any recommedations?
I have a mild comp-cam(it was called 370hk in my papers) and ported camel-hump heads and soon headers.
