I have a block out of a '69 COPO camaro. It is a 512 block cast A 07 9. The stamp pad is T0512MN and the VIN by the oil filter is 19N247308. I have been looking for the car through friends and thought this would be a good place to find the body and reunite the two.
Thanks,

Good 'Hawaiian Eye' ;) - probably a '6' and a Berger car - but I figured let the COPO guys noodle it out.

I don't know what I was thinking, the VIN is 19N647308. I have been to COPO.com and from the partial VIN numbers they have posted, I believe it is a Berger also. I sent the VIN to them last summer and they said they would let me know if they had any info on the car but I have not heard anything else from them.
Thanks,

Well it's one of those 'just sit tight' deals - links to your post here are already on several of the COPO/Musclecar sites and if the original body to your car or someone that needs an original style block is out there they will be in touch.
Couse if you're planin'to get rich of this block - I would sugest E-bay. Lots of stuff moves over there for prices I will never fiqure out. P.T Barnum must have seen E-bay coming. :D

I've got several COPOs in a database with that same engine date. One of the cars is 90 cars before that VIN. You may want to hold onto that block and keep an eye out to see if a car pops up on Ebay or something. Unless you have somebody willing to pay enough for it to make their COPO as close to correct as possible.
