thanks to everyone who had input on my question several days ago. ESPECIALLY to the last one from Racing Tech Team. Buddy, you saved me alot of money and headache!! I dropped the Muncie out of the 68 Cam.today and took the coverplate off and sure enough someome had been in there, took a chisel (gorilla time) to the bearing retainer nut to get it off,knicking it all up around the edges and then was careless enough to put the thing on BACKWARDS! That's why it was leaking. I noticed though that it is a metal to metal contact. I'm assuming that is enough to keep the oil in , but I may need a new nut and possibly coverplate since it now has grooves in it. Can anyone point me to a good deal on these parts? Thanks a mint!!

New "nut" is a breeze,most any of the regular shops around you should be able to at least get it for ya.
