Can anyone tell me if a GM oil pan off of a 65-74 corvette will fit in a camaro chassis? I want to use GM #14091356, LS-7 pan w/ windage tray but I don't want to buy it if it will not fit in a camaro chassis. Anyone know if this will or will not work?

I had a trap door pan (I think thats what you're talking about) that came with my 454 when I bought it. From what I recall the sump is too long, and will not clear the steering linkage in a Camaro. I sold it to a Corvette guy.
I bought a 8qt Milodon pan with the kick out sump. Nice pan, no leaks and good ground clearance.

Thanks for the info. Yes it does have the trap door and I also thought it wouldn't work, but I was just hoping.
