I do know they still have the big block turbo 400 crossmember, but it will not fit your trans, the TH 400 is longer. Nova up to 1974 uses the same crossmember. Firebird may use it too. ------------------ Check my web page for First Gen Camaro suspension info: David's Motorsports page (http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/David_Pozzi/) First Gen Suspension Page (http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/David_Pozzi/first_gen_suspension.htm) 67 RS 327 69 Camaro Vintage Racer 65 Lola T-70 Chev 350 Can-Am Vintage Racer RickD Jul 25th, 01, 04:00 AM You mentioned engine crossmember. Is this what you mean or is it the tranny cross member? ------------------ Rick Dorion 69 RS Conv,355,M20,4.10's rudyglx Jul 30th, 01, 06:34 AM Yes, I mean the engine crossmember, the tranny crossmember is ok, Thank you for your reply! camaroman7d Jul 31st, 01, 09:13 PM I think you would be better off replacing the whole sub frame rather than trying to weld in a new crossmember. To weld in the crossmember you will have to be sure it is in the perfect position, which I don't think you can do with confidence without a jig. What is wrong with your current crossmember?
