I bought a Muncie M 20 and a Hurst Competition Plus shifter came with it. I don't know if it works or not, although it looks like it is still all there. Does anyone make a rebuild kit for them?

Dan.

Dan, You can send it to hurst and they will rebuild it for $60. I don't know if you can get part for it or not.

Hope this helps,

Edit: that link did not work quite right -- when you go to that page, click on "Frequently asked questions" at the top, then select "Hurst"

Hurst sells the bushings separately for 10 bucks (in steel or nylon) if you think those may need replacing.

Thanks Guys, I went to their site and they do not offer parts. Sixty bucks does not seem to bad for a rebuild that costs $250.00 to replace. Thanks for your help!

While you're working on it get the best advice for what to lube it with. I'm wondering if just spray on lithium grease would hold it's own. Not sure. I'm presently stuck having to do what you are doing due to rust. I am fond of the dremel so we'll see how much I'll save. Not even sure if what looked like plates in a semi box piece out or not so I can clean them up. Wonderful beautiful Hawaii wreaked havoc on the metal.
