kz1000ltd Mar 21st, 05, 07:58 AM Sucks when you're buying, great when you're selling, the proverbial double edged sword!!!!
Scott Taylor Mar 21st, 05, 08:05 AM You can still get the GM wheel molding kits, they are $169.00. Don't know why anyone would pay $506.00 on Ebay for them.
HwyStarJoe Mar 21st, 05, 08:08 AM I love eBay!
Someday I will stumble across something that's been buried in the mud or hiding in my shed that I won't be able to decide whether to throw it away or keep it because of my hording nature..... I'll put this $7 part on eBay and make $3000 and just smile.
;)
kz1000ltd Mar 21st, 05, 08:12 AM 3K for friggin' hood insulation, that's gotta rank right up there as one of the most unbelievable things I've ever seen on eBay! Oh well, you know what they say about a fool and his money.......no offense Joe. :D :D :D :D
HwyStarJoe Mar 21st, 05, 09:44 AM This coming from Mr. eBay himself?
Where's your heart man?
KevinW Mar 21st, 05, 10:08 AM I don't even think that insulations was for a 1st gen Camaro anyway. Looked like a 2nd or 3rd gen with that deep hole on the side.

I have three of the four new NOS, but am missing the passenger rear which nobody has except guys like Heartbeat City who want $250 for just that one molding.I am told the right rear is discontinued.

HwyStarJoe Mar 21st, 05, 04:40 PM I'm just glueing Pep-Boys plastic chrome door-edge guards on my wheel wells. Screw it!
;)
Poker Shrek?
kz1000ltd Mar 21st, 05, 04:59 PM Or you could just mask it off and "paint" some chrome on there........ :D No poker tonight, fixin' to hit the hay.......KZ
HwyStarJoe Mar 21st, 05, 05:01 PM Hey! That's cheaper!
KevinW Mar 21st, 05, 06:05 PM Hey, Joe, my driver had that glue on chrome when I bought it. Looked good from 50' away smile.gif first thing I did was take it off and try to install the used ones I have. So much (extra!) bondo on the edges, they would not fit. So I left them off, but it is a future project to grind and redo the edges to get them to fit.
HO69 Mar 22nd, 05, 04:06 AM I just use aluminum foil tape for wheel moldings! :D It works well for re-chroming window trim, turn signals, rocker moldings, etc.... graemlins/thumbsup.gif
HwyStarJoe Mar 22nd, 05, 04:34 AM Man, keep the ideas coming guys! I might use a combination of all of them!
I just won't let anyone get closer than 30 feet from the car.

click Mar 22nd, 05, 05:10 AM the Mrs. can air brush chrome spray paint to look pretty close to chrome color. But her overspray is kinda messy, smile.gif

ccognetta Aug 8th, 05, 11:49 PM The moldings are so expensive because some wise guy got a hold of 3 out of the 4 of them, and was blowing them out the door really cheap. Of course he didn't have the right hard to find one, and nobody knew they would be so hard to find... Additionally, the vendors are stuck with the 4 pieces will not
break apart a set, can't blame them... That's why they are so expensive!!
z28doug Aug 9th, 05, 02:31 AM How about this RS wiper motor and solenoid?
