I removed the A/C from my 67 327 and am having issues with the alt placement. With A/C gone the factory brackets don't allow for proper belt alignment. I'm looking at the Spectre brackets part #s 4227 & 4226 to relocate. Any luck with these or any other suggestions???? I am also toying around with the idea of going to a March Perf. serp. set up.Any help? (stock the alt is on the left upper of the engine)

I run the March Bracket with Long Waterpump and its an excellent design. But Crow is putting together a March Group Buy so I am probably going to switch to the March Serpentine system (regular rotation so I keep my current Stewart Long Waterpump) just because serpentine is a superior design to the older V belts and it will help me mount my new Vintage Air AC compressor properly at the same time.

You should be able to run the stock pulleys but the A/C row will be dummied.

If you wish to eliminate the A/C belt train you can use GM part numbers 03755820 and 03905995 to replace the crank and w/p pulleys. These are single belt pulleys.

The stock A/C pulley ratios are overdriven, the replacements are 1:1. They work fine with the stock P/S setup.
