I was looking around in my spare parts pile and ran across these heads for a BB. The casting #'s are 6272292. Question is what year were these used and on what engines? What is the combustion chamber cc? Are these heads any good to modify maybe with bigger valves to produce some good street HP? If so, what kind of horses do you think you could sqeeze out of them?
Are they worth spending some money on or are they better destine to chock some car wheels or anchor my boat?

should be 70-78 large oval port open chamber off a 402 or 454.Not sure of the CC but should be larger than 106 CC

NOT WORTH A DIME ! I will help you out. Put them in a crate with my shipping adress on them and Ill even cover the shipping .

Yes they are worth putting money into. How much HP?? Depends on the rest of the motor but cleaned up with a good valve job, decent back cut valves and a little clean up work in the ports 550 HP in a 454 should be easy.

from what i found, like roger69 said, they are oval port, open chamber heads from 70-78, off of a 402/454 with 2.06 intake and 1.72 exhaust. if you don't have roger69 address, i'll give you mine....
