I finally had my engine dynoed today and this is the results. With-out Nitrous : 997 hp @7000 rpm 835 ft.lbs. @4500 rpm. With Nitrous 1154 hp @7000 rpm 971 ft.lbs. @ 5600 rpm. Now if only I can get the sucker to hook. I'll post the E.T when I get to the track, probably early February.

Thanks for the compliments guys. When I started out with this car (1991)it was a real beater. But after a lot of work and a few years later I am finally where I want to be with it. I remember when it was just a body up on blocks with out a sub-frame and my dad telling me "It will never run again Son" that just kind of got under my skin. It provided plenty of fuel for the fire.

How much nitrous are you running?

I am running a 175 shot with 9psi of boost from the blower.

So you picked up 157HP on a 175 shot, not bad. Not what I expected. I thought maybe you were running a 100-125 shot and the cooling effect helped the numbers that way as well. This is why I asked the question.

Yeah I thought that was a little odd myself. I thought the nitrous would add at least 5% more than advertised because of the cooling effect. I think I was running a little too much fuel pressure 8psi on the nitrous regulator. But I was happy with the results so I kept it safe and left it alone.
