where can i find detailed wiring diagrams for my 69 Camaro 350 x-11. thanks for anyhelp. I just got it and has afew wires frayed and not connected at all and i need to firigure it all out. They also installed a mallory Ignition and added some weird block the bolts to the fire wall, any ideas what it is? its small and silver. definatly hooks up the distributor. thanks. any and all help is great , this is my first one i just got it and it needs work as they all do. LOL

There's a complete wiring diagram in the UPC 12 section of the Assembly Manual, and much larger laminated versions are available from Lectric Limited ( www.lectriclimited.com (http://www.lectriclimited.com) ).

The "weird block" on the firewall is most likely a ballast resistor, in the wire from the ignition switch to the (+) terminal on the coil. You'll find the installation instructions and wiring diagrams for the Mallory ignition systems on the Mr. Gasket website ( www.mrgasket.com (http://www.mrgasket.com) ). graemlins/thumbsup.gif

THanx guys, wow good responces and very friendly I am this site. hope one day i can help out someone too. Wow, well bad news time. i acidentally fried my distributor by hooking the battery up backwards, wrong color cables and wife distraction...ugh! :mad: so i ordered a new piece for inside thats all I hope burned up. we'll see when it gets here. I have a Mallory "lite" something or other dist. I thought if thats all thats wrong then its way cheaper than buying a new HEI and new plugs and then wiring that in. So we'll see. Thanx again! :D
