Hi,

Just wondering if anyone out there has done what I am doing. I am changing from an idiot light car with console (68) to a Tach and factory console gauge package. I have located and identified all the wires involved and have routed and spliced them all correctly. The only thing I will need to do differently, is run the ammpmeter wires and the temperature gauge wire out to the engine bay separatly. I have an MSD with a tach terminal I ran to the back of the harness that goes to the tach terminal on the circuit board. All of the idiot light wires have been capped at both ends (engine side and harness side) Is there anything I may encounter, or is this going to work as planned? Any and all opinions are very appreciated!

thanks,

Jeff

If you would like I can email some old conversion diagrams and directions so that you can verify every thing is in the right place.

Solder and heat shrink are your friends, use them, gauges work on a varying resistance,a bad connection will skew them, or they wont work at all.
