My Original cluster tachometer on my 67 rs went dead? All wires are intact... nothing smelled like it was burning.. Speedo still work fine.. not certain where to start to fix problem.. could the circuit board have gone bad... is there a way to test..? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

see if your getting a signal from your distrubuter with a light probe or something.then check printed circuit board.mine burnt too.
p.s. i couldnt smell anything either.how about ground?

Is there a ground wire that attaches to the tach side of the circuit board?

the tach gets it signal from the coil... right??
