I have a 68 camaro with a tach mounted on the steering column in the 7 o'clock position. The tach works fine, but for some reason the lamp inside of it stopped working.
It used to come on when I turned on the headlights, now it seems to be dead. I checked the fuses and all of the connections and everything seems to be in order. Do you think I may have blown the bulb http://www.camaros.net/forum/confused.gif

OK, I'll be the one to tell you.....check to see if the bulb is burned out, if it is, replace it with a new one. Hope this helps.

The entire bulb is one circular piece that is made into the inner rim casing of the tach. I can't get directly to it without destroying the entire glass face. Man this sucks!!!:(

Check with the manufacturer about bulb replacement proceedure or what they would charge to replace it.
