Now that I have my 69 camaro cranking, it doesn't seem to want to shut off. I have replaced the ignition switch and solinoid, so I know that they are good and set up correctly. Some of the posts that I have read talk about replacing the diode that comes off the altenator to correct similar problems. Where do I find this diode and is there something else I need to check. I need detail information, because this is new charted waters for me.

ooooops.... didn't realize that you were the guy who postd drive me crzay ... sorry about that... Do make sure that ignition switch is working smoothly and rotating back from crank position...
